Make your wedding more memorable; guests will always remember
the location. Our historic houses and beautiful grounds are perfect for a garden or chapel wedding, rehearsal dinner, reunion, business meeting, corporate retreat, private meeting lunch, banquet or special event party.
Our wedding/reception price is all inclusive except for your services of minister, DJ, photographer or caterer. You can have a stress-free wedding since the tables and chairs and linens are all included and set to your liking. No missed deliveries or fees for set up or clean-up.
You take out what you brought in and the caterers clean up anything
associated with food.
There is a bartender/alcohol and valet fee, if you choose to have either one. You bring in the alcohol and we have the bartender. Parking is controlled by having the wedding party park off-site, since almost everyone drives separately. We can accommodate 60 vehicles with 2-3 riding together. You can park and drive all around the Reception House or we will be glad to provide valet service.
Don't let the fear of bad weather dampen your plans for a special outdoor wedding. If sprinkles are expected, we move indoors. Our lovely secret garden surrounded with magnolias, a backdrop of mature trees, and a lovely border of white flowers is complete with brick walkways and a patio entrance. A large white arbor is the focal point, creating the ideal backdrop for photographs with white wooden garden chairs. We include shephards hooks and lanterns to line the aisle. A sound system for playing your CD's or our wedding music and plenty of electrical outlets for your musicians equipment. Night weddings are especially lovely with all the lanterns lit and the lights twinkling. Consider an evening wedding if you’re concerned about the heat of our Tennessee summers!
All receptions are in the air conditioned banquet room seating up to 100. Great for dancing!
Depending upon your budget, we can design a wedding you will love, even from a distance. We have hosted many out-of-town weddings, down to the smallest detail, without meeting the bride. Your out-of-town guests may appreciate the three houses adjacent to the reception site all facing N. Maney Avenue. They are convenient to walk from the reception house after the reception or party and go to your room for the night. Great for families to stay together before and after events. Brides also rent these locations for their attendants, to provide a nice overnight stay and plenty of room to prepare for the wedding.
Our catering staff can provide a variety of foods for your events or private dinners, depending entirely upon how elaborate you want the service and foods . Prices start at $20 per guest for appetizers (with a minimum of $600) and range from $25 to $35 per guest for meals. We provide home-cooked style meals including complete service from presentation to cake cutting and clean-up with china, glassware and silverware included. We will set-up and clean-up.
For a self-service option, the Kitchen Fee is $300 for Refrigerator, Warming Oven, Microwave and Ice and you handle the entire reception with disposables and remove all the trash. The Carriage Lane Inn staff will not be available with this option. We have someone on-site for emergencies but not to assist with reception foods or guest. We still set-up for the wedding and direct and play the wedding music but not the reception.

Total Package $12,000 for Your Entirely Private Complex for two nights
($3000 in houses can be paid by your guests and you stay as a stress-free guest, at your own wedding with time to decorate, prepare or visit at your leisure)
Book weekdays for a beautiful small wedding and reception. Using the same facility as our regular weddings and receptions but a smaller time period of 2 hours from arrival to leaving with bubbles, up to 40 people with our cake and sparkling cider, served for toasting, for $1250. No more than 4 wedding attendants total and you can not bring in alcohol or other foods. Add a minister for $200 or bring your own. Our photographer is $400 providing you with a disc of photos.
